I
mentioned less than a month ago that one of the bloggers I read,
Michael Spencer, the Internet Monk, reported that he had less than six months to live. I learned
yesterday that he died. If there's anyone who lived and died in the hope of the resurrection, it's Michael. I will miss his challenging voice. Rest in peace.
For if we have life, we are alive in the Lord,
and if we die, we die in the Lord.
So, then, whether we live or die,
we are the Lord's possession.
Happy from now on
are those who die in the Lord!
So it is, says the Spirit,
for they rest from their labors.
