Here's the teaser:
Make sure that the Host is willing to invite friends and acquaintances. Because so many people are going to RSVP "no," be sure to invite three or four times as many people as you hope will eventually attend (e.g. if you want 20 people invite 60-80).
OK, so the plot's a little thin, but it's really useful information if you're part of a non-profit and need to do fundraising. If that describes you, I recommend it.

Meanwhile, back in WWII Paris
I'll be looking at your Teasers quite avidly today!

The Americans in Paris book sounds pretty dense! How long have you been working on it?
I'd be afraid I'd invite 60-80 people expecting 20 to show up only to have 50 show up!!
Good tip. Sadly I do not know that many people. My TT: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/06/teaser-tuesday-art-of-devotion.html
That sounds about right, for a fundraiser.
You teaser book may be the exact book opposite of Americans in Paris.
Here is my classic teaser on Rose City Reader.
It is always good information to have.... :)
Good advice. Great Teaser! My Teaser for Captivate is here.
Happy reading. :)

From the Shadows
Sounds like a brain break may be in order.
I'm so impressed that you are exploring the fate of France during the war. Good for you! Wonderful work, and I think you're going to find it very worthwhile when you're done. If one ever can really be "done" that sort of thing.
Good teaser! But I'm kind of distracted by your other explorations. :-)
Meanwhile, my own teaser is at Bookishgal.
Vichy still confusing you? Try Robert Paxton - he's phenomenal on this issue!
The local library has Paxton on Vichy France! However, I am first going to read a novel about vampires.
Vichy, vampires - any other topics beginning with V you would like to take a look at over the summer?
