After much consideration, here are my thoughts concerning the President receiving the Nobel Peace Prize
Congratulations, Mr. President. This is an honor for you and for America. I pray that you will be able to live up to the challenge this prize represents. Blessings.
There is no peace, there is no disarmament. The policy of the former administration lies mainly unchanged in this one, and our military is demanding more troops for one war we largely created in the 1990's to further our hegemony, and another we after 9/11 in order to keep our stranglehold on mideast oil! I am glad the public is bristling over this. There has been no substantive action toward any kind of peace anywhere by anyone. We cannot have a national health care plan, but we can have every cent that is not nailed down going into the military budget and the banking system, so more people in more places can be killed and so the average person's income and pensions can be raided further. What a joke! Congratulations can be made to whomever actually gets those swords turned into pruning hooks and those nuclear devices dismantled! And not a minute sooner! AMEN!
